KPV (Lys-Pro-Val) is the C-terminal tripeptide of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH residues 11–13). It retains the parent hormone’s anti-inflammatory signaling without its pigmentation activity, and is studied in inflammatory bowel, skin, and infection models.
